October 11, 2004 Meeting minutes:

• The G. H. Vaughn Detachment met on Monday, October 11, 2004 and had a Semper Fi supper at the Ryan's Family Steak House in Columbus, MS at 7:00pm.
  
• Call to order at 7:50pm by Commandant Lonnie Green.
• Commandant led in the pledge of allegiance.
• J.T. Perkins Sworn in as new member By Commandant Lonnie Green.
• 10 members in attendance:  Charles Adkins, Charles Arndt, William Blake, Don Cassell, Wendell Chadwick, Terry Cole, Lonnie Green, Bobby Price, Charles Staten, Tommy Redus, and J.T. Perkins.
• Detachment elections November 8.
• Adkins announced that the Citgo Bass Tournament wanted to donate toys to the "Toys  For Tots" program through our detachment on Friday October 15 at 3pm..
• Motion to buy meal for Commercial Dispatch reporter for public relations / advertisement made by Redus.  Second by Cassell.  All were in agreement.
• Meeting adjourned about 8:30pm
  
• "Toys for Tots" gear distributed.
